After an incredible career with Calgary Police Services—complete with high-speed chases, heroic takedowns, and THREE human partners—Jake has officially hung up his badge and is now living his best farm life. 🌾🐶

From chasing down armed suspects (seriously—Jake once stopped a carjacker mid-crime!) to now chasing sticks with his new fur siblings, Jake has always given his all. And during his recent vet visit, the doctor confirmed what we already knew: Jake is a very good boy. 💙

Now he spends his days cuddling cats 🐱, playing in the pasture, and enjoying well-earned belly rubs. Thank you for your service, Jake—we’re honored to be part of your new chapter!

After many dedicated hours of studying, exams, and hands-on training, Dr. Munro is now bringing this healing art to the animals and families we’re honoured to serve.
Here she is with Tar, one of her regular equine patients, who finds comfort and relief in his treatments. 💛🐴

Meet Mollie! She grew up in southern Alberta with

Meet Mollie! She grew up in southern Alberta with a love for the ranch lifestyle and always knew she’d work with animals. She earned her Animal Health Technology diploma from Olds College in 2023 and also holds a certification in equine sports therapy—helping horses perform at their best.

When she’s not at the clinic, you’ll find her on the road at barrel races, rodeos, or hanging out with her family, friends, and four-legged crew. Since joining Pioneer in September, she’s embraced every part of her role, especially farm calls, equine cases, emergencies, and small animal dentistry.

Marian has worn many hats over the years—from Registered Veterinary Technologist to Practice Manager and more—and her passion, leadership, and dedication have made a lasting impact on our team. She’s a natural mentor, a wealth of knowledge, and a friendly face that many in the Sundre area know and love.

When she’s not at the clinic, you’ll likely find Marian on the farm in Bergen with her husband Bryan, their four daughters, many grandkids, and an adorable crew of animals, including cows, horses, cats, and her dog Dottie. She loves spending time outdoors—riding in the mountains, hiking, and quading with Bryan whenever they get the chance.
