You have come to the right place if you value a local, long-standing veterinary relationship, where we treat your animals as if they were our own! As a new client of ours, you can expect our full attention to you and your pet’s needs.
When you arrive for your appointment, you will be greeted by our friendly reception team, who will first weigh your pet and ensure we have the correct information on file. You will then be shown to an examination room as soon as one is available.*
Once in the exam room, your veterinarian or registered veterinary technologist will take a history and discuss any concerns you may have. Depending on your pet, the reason for the visit, and any procedures or treatments required, your pet may be examined in the room with you or taken to our treatment area.
Following the examination, your veterinary team will discuss their findings, answer your questions, and recommend any further diagnostics or treatments. We will work with you to develop a plan that considers both your pet’s needs and your individual budget. Our reception team will then assist with billing and schedule any necessary follow-up appointments.
*While it is our goal to see all clients and patients on time, unexpected emergencies can occasionally cause delays. We do our best to minimize these delays and appreciate your patience when they occur. Should there be a delay, coffee and tea are available in our reception area, and you are welcome to browse our retail area while you wait. Whenever possible, we will also try to contact you in advance if a significant delay is expected.

Pioneer Veterinary Services has two full-service practices located in Sundre and Olds, Alberta. We provide in clinic and on farm visits to a wide range of clients between the three locations.
